West Grove Friends Quaker Meeting

We are glad you found us and decided to ‘stop by’.

West Grove Friends Meeting was founded in 1786.  When West Grove Borough was incorporated in 1883, they chose to name their community after the Quaker Meeting at the east end of town!

Quakers are not ones to rest on their laurels and each generation has risen to meet the challenges of their day. The challenge today for religious organizations of all denominations is to be relevant to the society and culture in which they are located and West Grove Friends is no exception. Those who attend our Meeting come from varied religious traditions, are lifelong Quakers or have been Friends for many years.  (We use the terms Quakers and Friends interchangeably).  While we are all on our own spiritual journeys we find that the diversity of the group is enriching and supportive.

Visitors are very welcome to come and try us out. We are sure you will be glad you did!
